LA GALLINA SARAVIADA

Synopsis "The spotty hen"

An old peasant woman struggles to preserve the lineage of her last hen that was devoured by a wild animal; to do so, she resorts to her ingenuity and different means of incubating her last remaining eggs.

Biography of the author

Screenwriter and director/ Ingrid Bonilla Rodríguez: Director and screenwriter of rural origin. Specialist in Photography from the National University of Colombia, Master in audiovisual production 2022 - 2023 EICTV Cuba. Master in fiction filmmaking EICTV 2024. Studied screenwriting and directing at the Eliseo Subiela School in Argentina. Member of the Colombian documentary filmmakers association ALADOS. He has extensive experience and training in teaching and pedagogy.

His creative motivations go towards a hybrid cinema that combines genres. She is also interested in rural storytelling and the creation of new universes through fantasy and science fiction genres.

Writer and director of the feature documentary “Montañera” (in post production), winner project FDC 2021. Feature documentary “Mariposa” in advanced development Selection VII Ibermedia Workshop: Development of Central American and Caribbean Film Projects in San Salvador 2023.  National selection to the Producers Salon Cali Film Festival, SAPCINE 2024.

Writer and director of the fiction feature film “Germinadas” (in writing stage). Selected as a project laboratory for the International Festival of Social and Community Cinema Salvaje, Creation Laboratory “Más Allá de los Márgenes, Bogotá 2024 and V Iberoamerican Workshop of fantastic film scripts, Bogotá. 2025, Cine qua non lab plot lines workshop, Mexico 2025.

Co-director of the documentary short film “Kilómetro 7”, screenwriter and director of fiction short films such as “Chaika” shot in Cuba, selected for the Proimagenes Refresh V6 catalog, “La gallina saraviada” and “El mandado” winner FDC 2024.

Founding partner of the corporation Montañera films with whom she has created and managed film training projects with rural communities and community cinema since 2021.​
